United Way representative urges partnership with City of Liberty, asks staff to help reach workplace-giving goal

Price said United Way ran the city’s first workplace campaign this year, with 13 employees choosing payroll giving and contributing $1,982 so far. He asked council and staff to keep the donation portal open and to help the group reach its $2,500 campaign goal, noting a QR code was available for immediate gifts. Price also thanked specific staff for coordinating the effort and asked the council to identify places where staff and volunteers could be most useful in upcoming programs.
