Director Toole presented the district's Regular Attender Supports framework rolled out in the 2025'26 school year. The system includes building attendance teams, daily monitoring, and a three-tier intervention model (Tier 1 baseline practices up to Tier 3 intensive supports). Youth Outreach Workers (YOWs) are part of the model to provide community outreach and wraparound supports.
Toole described an Attendance Dashboard that tracks average daily attendance against regular-attender targets and asked buildings to adopt baseline practices such as routines, recognition and daily monitoring. Board members discussed how engagement strategies and community outreach connect to attendance outcomes and asked about data reporting timelines.
