The North Bend School District board on Nov. 13 approved a motion to appraise and list the district-owned residential property at 2518 Pacific Avenue, and to authorize Interim Superintendent Tim Crider, with the board chair's approval, to negotiate and execute a sale consistent with the appraised market value.
Director Megan Kronsteiner–Cahill moved the motion; Director Julie B. Hale seconded. The motion passed 6–1, with Director Anna Huit recorded as Nay. The motion requires the superintendent to obtain an appraisal before listing and to consult with the board chair on any negotiated sale.
The board directed the superintendent to report final sale terms upon completion of the transaction. The minutes record compliance language referencing applicable state laws and district policies for disposition of district-owned property.
