Athletic Director Jim Taylor explained the difference between a collective and a co-op and said the districts do not need league approval for a collective — only school boards and superintendents must approve. "Dufur will be their own team, but they need a track to practice on," Taylor said. Director Polehn asked about league approval; Taylor confirmed the collective does not require it.
Director Polehn moved approval and Director Aparicio seconded; the motion passed unanimously.
