The North Bend School District Board of Directors voted unanimously Jan. 8 to approve the district's 2026–27 draft school calendar, contingent on final memoranda of understanding from both unions. Director Anna Huit moved for approval and Director Michelle Roberts seconded; the roll call vote was 7-0 in favor (Carol Yardley, Anna Huit, Megan Kronsteiner–Cahill, DeAnne Wiedenmann, Michelle Roberts, Julie B. Hale, Nathan McClintock).
Superintendent Tim Crider and board members said the calendar approval is conditional on the district reaching the required MOUs with labor partners before the calendar is finalized. The board also approved the 2026–27 board-selected holidays as presented. Next steps include any final MOU approvals before the calendar is published to staff and families.
