Morrow County school board previews 2025–26 goals, will seek adoption in September

Staff member Matt Combe reviewed four proposed board goals for the 2025–26 school year at a Morrow County School District work session on Aug. 11, 2025. Chair Richard Cole called the meeting to order at 5:31 p.m.; board members Becky Kindle, Mary Killion and Rosa Delgado attended, and several district staff participated via the North District Office/Zoom.
The proposed goals cover academic growth, financial management and continued support for the district bond process, communication and safety measures to support staff retention, and collaboration with county and regional partners with an emphasis on attendance. The board held a short, positive discussion of the changes and agreed that the goals would be presented at the Board meeting for adoption on Sept. 8, 2025. The work session adjourned at 5:45 p.m.
