Construction progress and bond update: projects near completion, $55M cash on hand

Bond program manager Bree Kaiser reported that the Sarah Moss and turf practice field projects are complete but require a few final payables to close out; the bulk of available bond funds are being prioritized for the Worthy Fayette High School project. Kaiser told trustees the district has "just under $55,000,000 cash on hand." Board members thanked communications staff for videos that highlight campus work and praised the scheduling and fiscal oversight of the construction team.
No new contract awards were approved at the meeting; construction and closeout activity will continue under the existing bond program plan.
