"Student supports" was the most frequently ranked top priority across elementary, middle and high school respondents; electives and career-technical education showed more variation at the high-school level.
Klinger said the in-person forum generated deep discussion and that staff separated responses (parents, staff, students) to look for patterns. Board members asked that Athena Vadnais provide the survey response-rate breakdowns by students, staff and parents. The district emphasized the goal of making sustainable budget decisions that avoid one-time fixes like furlough days or a COLA freeze.
