"Joan Hill has done a tremendous amount of work, and you've got the sign," the chair (Speaker 2) said when presenting the item. The board discussed funding and confirmed the Conservation Commission had $1,000 in its budget to cover the cost.
Board members expressed support for honoring the local archaeological effort; the motion was called and recorded with the board voting in favor. The sign will be installed at the site as part of preservation and public-information efforts.
