Superintendent James Layman delivered district-level updates during the Nov. 10 board meeting, listing administrative items including the "Spearman ISD Team of 8 Effectiveness Scoring Rubric," current district enrollment figures, and the PEIMS ADA report as of Oct. 31. He also announced community events: the Veteran's Day program scheduled for Nov. 11 at 9:30 a.m. and the annual Thanksgiving meal on Nov. 14.
Campus and director reports followed: campus-level updates for GBE, SJH and SHS were given, and Mrs. Krista Baird presented the CCMR (College, Career and Military Readiness) report. Athletic Director Michael Lozano provided football playoff logistics, an update on winter sports, and noted that UIL realignment numbers have been submitted to UIL.
