Spearman ISD sets May 2, 2026 trustee elections, including special election for an unexpired term

The Spearman I.S.D. Board approved an Order of Election for May 2, 2026 to fill two trustee positions with three‑year terms and separately approved an Order of Special Election to fill one unexpired two‑year term on the same date. The regular‑order motion was made by Trustee Anne Marie Pearson and seconded by Trustee Jay Tracy; the special‑order motion was made by Trustee Rhett Renner and seconded by Trustee Karla Flowers. Both motions carried 7–0.
Exhibits A and B in the meeting packet set early voting by personal appearance for weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Spearman ISD Administrative Office beginning April 20 and ending April 28, 2026. Applications for ballots by mail (ABBMs) and Federal Post Card Applications must be received by the close of business on April 21, 2026, per the orders. The orders designate Nora Saenz as contact for mailed ballot applications.
