Board members discussed the timing for budget-related community engagement and the calendar’s first formal budget meeting on April 15. A board member offered to join staff in budget-planning discussions; staff said outreach to community and staff will begin in February. "We will start probably in February reaching out to the community to gather their feedback and our staff as well," the superintendent said.
Separately, the board accepted a $500 gift from the Evans family for a Pacific Ridge "book nook" and related class books; the motion to accept the gift was moved, seconded and approved by voice vote.
