At its Oct. 8 meeting the Santiam Canyon SD 129J board accepted the superintendent’s goals for the year. Superintendent Krista Nieraeth told the board that the district needs to agree on these goals by Oct. 15 and that she will work on them throughout the year; goal achievement will be part of her evaluation. Melissa Allison moved to accept the goals; Carl Anderson seconded. The motion passed 4-0.
