Director Jenna Mejia moved to approve the 6th-grade trip; Vice‑Chair Abby Apodaca seconded and the motion passed unanimously. Director Lisa Reeser moved to approve the World Language Day EOU trip after a teacher presentation; the board voted yes unanimously.
Teacher Mr. Rangel explained the World Language Day trip is for multiple districts participating in National Dual Language Day, providing students with exposure to language programs and campus opportunities. "This trip to EOU is for a lot of school districts from the surrounding area for National Dual Language Day," the teacher said. Both trips were approved with standard conditions and parental consent procedures to be handled by school staff.
