At the Feb. 12 meeting, the Spurger ISD Board of Trustees approved creation of a position for Director of State and Federal Programs (motion by Brent Marcum, seconded by Cheryl Spangler; passed unanimously).
The board entered closed session at 8:06 p.m. and returned to open session at 10:20 p.m. After returning to open session the board approved one-year administrative contracts for Tanya Cain and Arlene Robinson (motion moved by Brent Marcum, seconded by Carroll Hatton; recorded as passed unanimously) and then moved to designate Arlene Robinson as Director of State and Federal Programs (motion by Brent Marcum, seconded by Eudel Tucker; passed unanimously).
