STAMFORD ISD board casts votes in Haskell and Jones County appraisal district elections
Summary
At the Nov. 17 meeting the board cast 34 votes for Matt Mueller in Haskell County and placed 333 votes for Jim Astin in Jones County; both motions were made by Curtis Birdsong and passed unanimously by present members.
Board member Curtis Birdsong moved to cast 34 votes for Matt Mueller for the Haskell County Appraisal District board; the motion was seconded by Dale Caddell and carried (6–0, one absent). The district recorded the vote tally with Gwen Baker absent and six yea votes recorded.
In a separate motion, Curtis Birdsong moved to place 333 votes for Jim Astin in the Jones County Appraisal District board election; Lauren Decker seconded that motion and it also passed with the same recorded roll-call result (6–0, one absent). The votes were recorded in the meeting minutes as part of routine election-casting on behalf of the district.
