The board voted unanimously to recognize the Hansford County 4‑H Organization for extracurricular-status consideration under the Texas Administrative Code (19 TAC Chapter 76.1) and to grant adjunct faculty status to named county extension agents so they may supervise student participation in 4‑H activities. Trustee Scott Sonnenberg moved the resolution; Trustee Anne Marie Pearson seconded the motion, which carried 7-0.
Board materials (Exhibit D and related adjunct agreement language) specify that participation by 4‑H members will be subject to the applicable Texas Administrative Code rules and that adjunct faculty receive no compensation from the district. The adjunct appointments (Exhibit C/D) name local extension agents and outline supervisory relationships and benefit provisions held by the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service.
