Board awards $896,362 contract to Zūm for student transportation routing system

Chief of Operations Teresa Neff-Webster and Director of Transportation Kathy Calkins discussed the district’s need for a new student transportation routing and dispatch system. The Board then considered a motion to award the contract to Zūm Services, Inc.
"Paul Kemp moved, Tory McVay seconded the motion to award the School Transportation Services Routing and Dispatch System to Zūm Services, Inc., for an amount not to exceed $896,362.00 for the installation, licensing, training, and support of a new system," the minutes record. The motion (R25/26-29) passed 5-0 with Directors April Dobson, Paul Kemp, Tory McVay, April Olson and Samantha Tamtreng voting yes.
