Commissioners pass administrative consent items; finance report delayed due to new software

The Bee County Commissioners Court approved multiple administrative items on the consent agenda in a single voice vote. The chair explained that the listed items were administrative in nature and could be acted upon by one vote unless a commissioner requested separate discussion.
When asked, staff member April Cantu told the court that the county's financial reports were delayed because of the transition to new financial software: "my financial reports are behind because of our new software," she said. The motion to approve the administrative items was moved, seconded and carried by voice vote with the court recording no separate roll call.
