Council reviews public-hearing steps for Parkview Christian School SUP (Ordinance 2026-205)

The mayor provided sample motion language: "I make a motion to approve ordinance 2026-205 with the terms and conditions and variances as stated in the ordinance," and said an alternative would be a motion to deny.
He also explained how the council must handle add-on conditions raised during public comment (for example, by making a motion that explicitly cites any additional condition or variance). The mayor emphasized that abstentions can count as yes votes under the city charter when an extension is requested.
