Board awards $2.587M contract for Worthy Fayette High School off-site sewer, adds $250K contingency

Bree Kaiser explained the sewer is separate from the main building construction and must be bid and approved separately; the district opened bids April 30, ranked proposals by cost, schedule and qualifications, and selected Circle H Contractors as best value. Kaiser said the selected contractor’s timeline aims to start in July or August with a 145-day build time, subject to weather and easements.
The board moved and seconded the recommendation and the chair called a voice vote; the motion passed 5–0.
