After $400,000 loss, Sweetwater ISD board limits day care to employees at $125/week

After discussion on the facility's history and finances, Jeff Allen moved to offer day care to SISD employees only for the 2025–2026 academic year at a cost of $125 per week; Domingo Castillo seconded the motion and it passed 7-0. The minutes note that the day care had originally been implemented after COVID using ESSER monies and was intended as a staff incentive.
