At the Nov. 20 meeting the Sulphur Bluff ISD Board authorized its candidate votes for the Franklin County Appraisal District Board and appointed a rural representative to the Hopkins County Appraisal District.
Trustee Donnie Powers moved, and Trustee Jason Neal seconded, a motion to cast five votes for Brad Sears and four votes for Austin Puryear to the Franklin County Appraisal District board; the motion passed 4—6. In a separate motion, the board approved a resolution appointing Beth Hankins as the rural school district representative on the Hopkins County Appraisal District Board; that motion also passed 4—6.
Both items were recorded as motions and approved without recorded dissent.
