Trustee Teri Dugi introduced the recommendation and Blaine Akin moved the motion; Sherry Lambeck seconded the motion and the board voted 5–0, with two members absent. The transcript includes the mover’s language: "I move that the board add, revise, or delete (LOCAL) policies as offered by TASB Policy Service for consideration and according to the instruction sheet for TASB Localized Policy Manual Update 126."
