Stanton ISD board adopts 2025–2026 budget

The Stanton ISD Board of Trustees unanimously approved the district budget for the 2025–2026 school year at a special called meeting Aug. 28, 2025 following a staff presentation and public hearing.
"Motion to adopt a budget for the 2A25-2A25 school year," the record shows; Trustee Brandon Ireton moved the motion and Trustee Tiffany Carson seconded. The roll call recorded five yeas, zero nays and two absences (Reggie Franklin and Ramiro Reyes). The board adopted the budget as presented by district staff.
District staff presented the proposed budget and the proposed property tax rate during the public hearing prior to the vote. The board did not record any amendments to the proposed budget on the floor during the meeting. The next procedural step is implementation under the adopted fiscal plan for the 2025–2026 school year.
