Staff explained the change was requested by the title company to permit a different district official to sign closing documents for the parcel behind Robert Frost. As one staff speaker said, the update was requested because the prior authorization “got Joe Morlock's name on it,” and the resolution “gives me the authority to sign instead of Joe.” The board discussed minor wording edits to the resolution that staff will make before signing.
