"I would say some of the totals that I saw yesterday and the day before will be right around the $2,000,000 mark," the judge told the court when summarizing initial damage estimates. Commissioners discussed whether to set aside a line item or wait for a formal award from the state; the court approved outreach to help residents submit surveys and directed staff to centralize communications for consistency.
