Alan Aukerman, landscape architect for the applicant, walked the zoning board through revisions tied to moving the front building row to meet a 35‑foot setback and adjustments to the entrance to satisfy fire access. "Good evening. Alan Aukerman from Ryan Associates Landscape Architecture and Planning," he said, and described a paved/painted median treatment at the entrance, an 8x10 bus shelter and a neighborhood sign along Sandwich Road.
Aukerman said the plan shows a roughly 0.667‑acre "community green" with subgrade infiltration and reserve areas that will double as open space, a reconfigured dog park, raised bed community garden and a tot lot. He noted items flagged in the Beals & Thomas peer review (plan scale, pet‑park surface and a revised photometric plan) and said the team will incorporate those responses into the next round of drawings to be presented at the continuation on Aug. 27.
