Three Rivers ISD board approves appraisal-district nominees, accepts teacher resignation

On the nomination item, Trustee Mayra Guerra moved "I move to approve the names of Lee Benham, Thomas Salazar and Darrell Pullin be placed on the Live Oak County Appraisal District Board of Directors ballot," a motion seconded by Trustee Rick Sowell and approved 6–0 with Trustee Sammy Ruiz absent. Later the board addressed a teacher resignation: Trustee Rick Sowell moved to approve the resignation of Jeff Osborne; Trustee Darrell Pullin seconded and the motion passed 6–0 (one absent).
The board announced a closed-session personnel item under the Texas Open Meetings Act but did not enter closed session before taking the open-session vote on the resignation. The brief meeting concluded with adjournment at 5:08 PM.
