The Sudan Independent School District Board unanimously approved a consent agenda of routine items and accepted the district'9s financial report at its regular meeting on April 13, 2026. President Richard Salazar called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.; the consent agenda included minutes from the previous meeting, the tax collector'9s report, campus transfer lists and the vehicle maintenance report. "The motion carried 6-0," according to the meeting minutes.
Superintendent Scott Harrell presented the financial report that the board also approved by a 6-0 vote after a motion from Vice President Clay Carr and a second from Ryan Harper. The board recorded attendance of six members present (Richard Salazar, Clay Carr, Joe Ky Shultz, Susan Baker, Dustin Provence and Ryan Harper); Secretary Ryan Netherland was absent. The approvals will be reflected in the district'9s minutes and financial records.
