Sudan ISD board approves consent agenda and accepts financial report

At its Sept. 8 meeting the Sudan Independent School District board approved the consent agenda (minutes, tax-collector report, campus transfers, transportation) and accepted the district financial report; motions passed unanimously after all members were present.
The Sudan Independent School District Board of Trustees met Sept. 8, 2025, and approved the consent agenda, which included minutes from the prior meeting, the tax collector’s report, campus transfer lists and the transportation report. Susan Baker moved to approve the consent agenda; Ryan Harper seconded and the motion carried 6-0 (Joe Ky Shultz was not present at the time of the vote).
Superintendent Scott Harrell presented the district financial report later in the meeting. Clay Carr moved to approve the financial report; Ryan Netherland seconded. With all seven board members present the motion carried 7-0. The minutes note no further action on the Budget and Finance Committee report or the EDGAR document, the latter having been approved in May 2025.
