The council heard an update on the Civic Center housing project from Assistant City Manager Jocelyn Francis, who reported that bids for packages 3A and 3B were extended and are now due on Feb. 10 at 2 p.m. Francis said that once bids are received staff will review them with the city’s housing consultant and return in March with a feasibility analysis and recommendations on next steps.
Francis also reminded residents about vehicle sticker renewals ($50) and the upcoming 'Hungry' app team visit March 3–6 for presentation and restaurant outreach. On the housing schedule, she said: "Once we get those bids in place, we'll share them with our housing consultant and we'll be coming back to city council in March with a full feasibility analysis and recommendations on how to move forward."
