During the consent-agenda discussion the board separately considered item J, a facilities/lease matter regarding Rock Creek. Trustee Wedge recognized Jeremy for his work negotiating the agreement and noted the Rock Creek facility will be a community resource used by the Placer County Sheriff’s Office and allied programs. Staff and trustees said the arrangement is expected to provide roughly $84,000 per year to the district in revenue.
The board approved the consent agenda and later approved item J by roll call. Trustees discussed that officers from other areas of the county would work at the facility and that the site would support the Placer County Sheriff’s Activities League and related programming; staff said the contract and leases were the result of coordinated work among facilities and district leadership.
