At its Feb. 9 meeting the Temple ISD board approved the consent agenda, which included a District Enrollment Update, a waiver for professional development minutes for 2025-26, Budget Amendment #6 and multiple purchases exceeding $50,000. Items listed in the minutes included Bluebonnet materials, band instrument purchases, an elementary campus technology refresh, ERATE wireless access points, ERATE firewall maintenance and support, 2026-2027 student devices for incoming freshmen and middle schools, and classroom device charging carts.
The minutes list the procurement items but do not provide dollar amounts for each line item. Trustee Ronnie Gaines moved to approve the consent agenda and Trustee Dawn Cook seconded the motion; the minutes show the motion carried unanimously, 7-0. The board did not record additional discussion or dissent on those procurement items in the minutes.
