Board approves up to $70,000 for districtwide access-control additions from Convergint

Chris Conner, Director of School and Student Services, presented scope and priorities; Convergint’s Travis Vail was present to answer technical questions. The motion, moved by Jackie Flores and seconded by Susan Rollins, passed with the recorded tally of Yea: 6, Nay: 0, Absent: 1.
Board materials note the purchases are intended to advance campus safety and are part of previously discussed security improvements for which budget amendments were proposed earlier in the meeting.
