Taft ISD board approves consent agenda including minutes, expenditures and tax summary

The Taft ISD Board of Trustees approved multiple routine items on the consent agenda, including a revision of the Sept. 23, 2025 minutes, approval of the Jan. 20, 2026 minutes, total expenditures by function ending January 2026, a summary of taxes paid to Taft ISD through January 2026, and the Taft ISD Child Nutrition report for the same period. Trustee Paul Luis Trevi—o made the motion and Trustee Johnny Carvajal seconded; the motion passed 6–0 with Trustee Greg Benedict absent.
These routine approvals allow district administration to continue fiscal operations and reporting without additional board-level amendments recorded in the minutes.
