Sudan ISD board approves consent agenda and financial report

The Sudan Independent School District Board convened Oct. 6, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. in the district administration office and approved the consent agenda covering the previous meeting minutes, the tax collector’s report, vehicle maintenance report and campus transfer lists. President Richard Salazar called for the motion and Ryan Netherland moved to approve; Ryan Harper seconded and the initial vote carried 6-0 before Trustee Joe Ky Shultz arrived.
Superintendent Scott Harrell presented the financial report; Clay Carr moved to approve the report and Susan Baker seconded. The motion carried 7-0 after the full board was present. The meeting adjourned at 7:25 p.m. following unanimous approval of remaining business. The transcript notes, "The financial report was presented to the board by Scott Harrell."
