Director of Community Engagement Marisa Poling presented findings from the February 2026 YouthTruth survey at the Board meeting on April 23, highlighting several positive trends and participation metrics.
"Highlighted strengths included improved perceptions of school safety across all levels, high school college and career readiness reaching a multi-year high, and continued strong family-teacher relationships," Poling said. The presentation covered student and family responses and prompted Board questions about using the data to inform planning and community outreach.
Directors discussed next steps for leveraging survey data to support district priorities and asked staff about strategies to increase community connectedness.
