Medford SD 549C board adopts K–5 science curriculum

The Medford School District 549C Board of Education voted unanimously April 23 to adopt the recommended K–5 science instructional materials.
A motion by Director Erik Johnsen, seconded by Director Lilia Caballero, passed on roll call. During discussion a board member asked whether the district had received any concerning feedback about the proposed materials; directors also expressed appreciation for the time, dedication and professionalism of teachers who reviewed and selected the materials.
The adoption clears the materials for classroom use under district procedures; the Board did not record any amendments to the recommendation.
