Courtney also gave an education and outreach update: the "Raindrop Run" is scheduled for Aug. 29 at 9 a.m. at Westside Park along the Greenway; four sponsors have been secured, participation is free for children, and so far 11 children are registered. "They're gonna get a shirt, snacks, drinks," Courtney said, and staff will reach out to local schools and volunteer groups to increase participation and support.
