Valley Mills ISD approves T-TESS appraisal calendar and names appraisers for 2025–26

The Valley Mills ISD Board of Trustees approved the 2025–26 T-TESS appraisal calendar at its Aug. 26 meeting and confirmed six appraisers for the coming year. Mr. Dowdy presented the calendar; trustees voted in favor on a motion by Jim Blackford, seconded by Jake Wolf, with a recorded vote of 7–0. The approved appraisers are Misti Stephens, Julie Tidmore, Tessa Dowdy, Joe Crownover, April Bryan and Josh Jones.
The board also approved the schedule of regular board meetings for 2025–26 at the same meeting, subject to change. In other personnel-related budget actions earlier in the meeting, trustees approved salary-fund increases for teachers and support staff and authorized reallocations to support a new high school counselor position.
