The adoption followed standard procedure: the council opened the public hearing, invited comments and — seeing none — closed the hearing before approving the ordinance. Mayor Gallagher thanked council and municipal staff later in the meeting for putting together “a responsible municipal budget.”
Why it matters: the budget sets the borough’s spending priorities for parks and recreation, public safety, and municipal operations for 2025. The adoption also authorizes the clerk to publish the required notice of adoption.
