Little League urges repairs to Smith School field; reports 300 spring participants

Board members discussed options including FEMA funds previously received by the board of education and whether the facility should be repaired or knocked down; Director Cannon said the borough had a $70,000 grant for field repairs but flood mitigation must be addressed before field reconstruction. Little League said it will continue fundraising and may coordinate with the borough on bids for snack stand operations.
