Throckmorton CISD board delays setting public hearing date for 2025–26 budget and tax rate

The minutes record that for agenda item 5.i the board took no action: "Action: No Action taken at this time, will hold another meeting." The board left the date for a public hearing to be set at a later meeting.
The postponement means the board has not yet scheduled the public hearing required for adopting the district’s M&O and I&S tax rates for the upcoming school year. The agenda indicated the district planned to consider adoption of tax rates for the 2025–2026 school year, but the minutes show members deferred that step and provided no additional timeline for when the hearing will occur.
