Students and staff honored; Sunnyvale Education Foundation presents annual report

At the Jan. 29 meeting the board conducted opening activities and recognized multiple student groups and staff. The SHS Robotics team (coaches Michell Frederiksen and Emaleah Rutherford) and SHS volleyball (coaches Kyla Menefee, Kayleigh Johnson, Daniel Brewer) were listed by roster and coaches were acknowledged. Quarterly Students of the Month for SMS and SHS were named for November and December, and the district presented Quarterly Rise Award winners by campus.
