Pitman council authorizes estimated third‑quarter 2024 tax bills, sets Oct. 11 due date

The Borough of Pitman Council on Sept. 4 approved Resolution No. 130, 2024, authorizing the tax collector to prepare and issue estimated property tax bills for the third quarter of 2024. Council President Fitzpatrick called the special meeting to order at 1:15 p.m.; Councilman Mazzola moved the resolution and Councilperson James seconded.
Administrator McCafferty said the bills "must be sent out no later than September 11th, and efforts are being made to mail them as soon as possible. The due date for the bills will be October 11th." The council voted unanimously in favor: Councilman Bially, Council President Fitzpatrick, Councilperson James, Councilman Mazzola and Councilman Uyehara recorded "yes" votes.
The resolution gives the borough tax collector the administrative authorization to prepare estimated bills for property owners. No members of the public spoke during the meeting's public comment period. The council adjourned at 1:28 p.m.
