Paulsboro police department approves promotions and hires; one officer resigned
Summary
The council approved promotion of Jordan Walls to Patrolman 4th Class effective May 5, 2025 (R.25.102), and hired SLEO I officers Sharif Green and Joseph Weatherley (R.25.103, R.25.104); the department also recorded the resignation of Patrolman Alex Fanfarillo effective March 13, 2025.
Police Chief Gary Kille submitted personnel memos reporting that Patrolman Alex Fanfarillo resigned effective March 13, 2025. Chief Kille recommended promotion of Jordan Walls based on work ethic and completion of two years; the council adopted R.25.102 promoting Walls to Patrolman 4th Class effective Monday, May 5, 2025.
The council also adopted resolutions to hire two SLEO I officers, Sharif Green and Joseph Weatherley (R.25.103 and R.25.104), all by unanimous roll call with Councilman Holloway absent. The police memos were received and filed by the council.
