The council adopted Resolution R.241.24, determining the need for affordable housing and recording that PRC Acquisitions LLC, an affiliate of Property Resources Corporation/PRC Group LLC, proposes to acquire and rehabilitate the Paulsboro Gardens Apartments. The meeting minutes say the new owner is planning approximately $1 million in rehabilitation work.
During public comment a person identified as Matt—described in the minutes as the new owner of Paulsboro Gardens—told councilors the owner will consider additional parking and that the complex will be ADA compliant. Solicitor Maley explained that an assessment of need for state affordable‑housing assistance is required by the applicable procedure described in the minutes.
