Tenafly council confirms slate of borough legal counsel, planners and committee appointments

During its reorganization meeting, the Tenafly Mayor and Council confirmed a series of appointments to legal counsel, planning and engineering roles, and mayoral board and commission nominees.
Mayor Zena moved to appoint Weener Law Group as borough attorney (resolution R26-01) and the council approved the motion by roll call. The body also confirmed labor counsel (R26-02), bond counsel and tax appeal attorneys, a traffic engineer, a special projects engineer, a borough planner and a special planner. "Could I get a motion to approve resolution R26-01?" the mayor asked before each call to the roll.
The council also confirmed the mayor’s appointments to the planning board, board of adjustment, environmental commission, historic preservation commission, board of health, library trustees and a range of non-statutory committees (recreation, downtown improvement, Tenafly Pride, Tenafly Nature Center and others). The motions were moved, seconded and approved sequentially by roll call; no votes against were recorded in the transcript passage for these confirmations.
