Tatum ISD approves auditor for FY2025 and renews bank depository contract with Texas Bank

The Tatum ISD Board approved two financial items on June 9, 2025: appointment of an auditor for the fiscal year ending 2025 and a Bank Depository Contract with Texas Bank. Dr. J.P. Richardson recommended Malnory, McNeal & Company, P.C. to conduct the audit; the board approved the recommendation 7-0.
Assistant Superintendent of Finance Brandon Milam reported that Texas Bank continues to provide strong customer support, the best rate of return and no banking fees for the district's accounts. The board approved a depository contract with Texas Bank, effective Sept. 1, 2025 through Aug. 31, 2027, by a 7-0 vote.
